At the Tarrant County Democratic Executive Committee meeting tonight I was finally appointed the full Precinct Chair for precinct #3172. Of course, nothing could go smoothly and the meeting took over three hours but we did add about 107 precinct chairs and got the hard work of re-organizing the party underway.

Funny thing that also happened: I was talking with the chair of the Database Committee offering whatever help I could provide while not committing to much since I don't know what impact the day job would have on any commitments. A man asked if I had a Masters degree in computer science. Of course I don't because I chose the lucrative Food Service Industry over college! Any way he indicated that was too bad because he was the chair of the local community college's Computer Science department and he thought I would make a perfect Adjunct Professor. I was so stunned I actually looked at admission and classes when I got home. Professor me...LOL!
